CHUNKY TWEED

I used four different yarns to make this hat--brown, off white, light blue and a mixed color yarn.  Each yarn was very thin so I combined them to make one medium weight yarn.  Everything came together beautifully to make this soft, warm hat.  I rolled the hat to the backside (reversed the knit) so that the hat has a simple knit stitch appearance.  I'm happy with it.

TWEEDY STRIPE

This is what you get when you use up a bunch of short yarns that are left over from other projects.  I didn't realize how much of a wide stripe effect this pattern would create.  I like it.

BLUEBERRY

The colors of the yarns woven into this hat remind me of blueberries.  Three different yarns make up this color palette.  This also gives the hat some nice thickness to warm those ears this winter.

CHECKERBOARD

I think the name fits this hat rather well.  I like this design.  I used a golden yellow yarn for the chevron pattern and a combination of dark brown and blue yarns for the main body of this hat.  It's double thick and very warm.  Soft, too!!

DOUBLE MINTY

Two shades of green yarn give this hat its' cool color.  There are four layers of yarn knit into this hat so it will make a nice warm covering for any head on an even cooler day this winter.

CLASSIC BROWN

I used very earthy colors in this hat.  There are two shades of brown yarns mixed with an off white yarn and they come together in a very natural neutral way.  Some of the yarns are thicker than others and that adds to the warmth of the hat.  It has a soft feel which I think the ears will appreciate.
