Yummy yum!  Looks good enough to eat.  Better to wear, though.  Nice and soft and warm.  Perfect.

the FESTIVAL BELL

I think this pretty blue knit hat looks like a bell.  And, look at all of the bright colored decorations in the background.  Very festive!  That's for sure.

LIME MANGO SHERBET

That's what the colors of this hat remind me of...sherbet.  Unlike sherbet this hat is not frosty cold.  Rather than chilly, this hat will keep a head snugly warm.  And, it's soft, too.  

the PASTELS AND SHADOWS

I really like the contrast of the colors in this lovely (and soft) pastel pink and blue knit hat against the shadowy background of the chair in which it's resting.  Very artistic, I think.  That's it.

the ALPINE HAT

Someone mentioned this hat looks like it's climbing a mountain...thus the name.  Well, it would be warm enough for the climb, that's for sure.  Yodel on!

the KIRAN

What a perfect match!  The San Fernando Cathedral in the Main Plaza in San Antonio and a beautiful day filled with puffy clouds.  And, I know of another perfect match.  That would be B and K.  It's their anniversary today.  Here's to you!  Oh, and, that's a nice hat, too, on it's way to church.

SOFT AND SILVER-Y

That really describes this hat.  I combined some very soft brown and grey yarn with some silver metallic nylon/acrylic/wool yarn and came up with this look. Soft to touch, warm to wear.

LIAM

Oh, WOW!!!  It's Liam's big day!  I hope it's filled with all kinds of planes, trains and automobiles.  I'm sure it is.  So, little man, have a happy happy birthday!  (Two already!  Has it been that long?)

MISTY DAWN

This colors in this very soft knit hat remind me of an early morning misty dawn.  Some of the yarns are clear and some have a sheen.  The little white bits of yarn remind me of the low flying clouds that float within the mist.  It's a beautiful hat.  And today is the birthday of a beautiful young woman, too. H. B. to Misty.  May all your wishes come true.

AMELIA

What a lovely hat for a lovely little girl who turns five years old today.  The hat is knit with very soft yarns.  The yarn is fluffy and textured with tiny ribbon like yarns running through it.  The color is a vivid rose with pink accents.  Very sweet...and so is beautiful brown eyed Amelia.  H.B.!!

BILLY

                                               I like the name Billy.  So, here it is.  Billy.

BROWN WITH FLECKS

This hat is knit from all wool yarn in a very warm tone of brown.  Little colorful bits of yarn give this hat a flecked look.  It is double knit and will be very warm on the head this winter.  It won't be long.

REDS AND GREENS

...with a bit of white.  I like this color combination.  Any time of the year.  Even on a very hot day in September.  It's very cheery and even though the hat is too warm to wear right now, it will be perfectly comfortable to wear in a couple of months.  Enjoy!

NEON LIGHTS

For some reason the colors in this hat remind me of tiny neon lights.  I combined a dark blue yarn with a variegated blues, pinks, greens and yellows yarn and came up with this look.  I like it!  The hat is certainly warm enough because of the double layers of yarn.  I think the wearer will like it, too.

DESERT FLOWER

This lovely soft pink hat is taking a break at a road side rest stop in southern New Mexico.  Nice.

TUCSON TESSIE

Yah sure!  This hat visited Tucson and had a picture taken with the mountains in the background.  The temperature today is around 100 degrees so the hat will have to wait a while before being worn but this makes for a pretty picture, don't you think?  And the name, well, it's perfect.

the DOME HAT

This is a funny shaped hat.  I didn't intend to make it this way.  It just happened.  The white yarn is very thick and when I added the red and black yarn, well, it just got thicker.  Laugh, if you want.

GOLDENROD

I have used some very soft yarn lately and I think this is one of the softest.  Snuggly Buggly!!

TIFFANY CAROL

Isn't this refreshing?  A fluffy soft hat and a beach.  What a combo!  It's a little hot for the hat today with the temperature in the 90's but it will come in handy soon as the weather changes from summer to fall.  H. B. to two gals that share the same birth date--Tiffany and Carol.  Hey, surf's up!

FUZZY WUZZY WAS A HAT

Wow, this hat is so fuzzy and soft!!  It's tickle-y soft.  I really LIKE it!  It's so cute.  Someone will be squealing with delight when they wear this hat on a really chilly Fall day.  I'm pretty sure.

OLD FASHIONED FUN

...for the mice, that is.  Taking over a sewing machine and dancing with joy.  (Who's Joy?)  The colors and textures of the knit hat look rather old fashioned, too.  They go together, don't you think?

the COLOR-FALL HAT

I really like the colors of Autumn.  This hat has those colors and more.  Earthy tones, chunky textured yarns,  comfy softness and the warmth of the thick knit.  br-r-r-r-ring it on, chilly willy!

HOMESPUN

I really like this yarn.  It's a nice deep red in color and it has lots of slubby yarns running through it.  It is rather soft and will keep someone's head very warm this winter.  Hooray!

I saw this beautiful rose in bloom today.  Very fragrant.  Very sweet.  And the hat is sweet, too.
