the TRAIL GUIDE

I came across this stacked pile of rocks along a trail that lead to a waterfall.  They were purposefully stacked in a neat pile and reminded me of a trail marker.  This rugged hat just seems to fit in with the terrain and so I present to you...the trail guide.  Walk on.

the SNAKE RIVER SUSIE

Enjoy the vista!  Yes, that is the Snake River in the background.  This knit hat looks very Spring-y in color but it's thickness makes it warm enough for a very chilly day.  The temperature outside today is about 80 degrees so I guess little Susie will have to wait to be worn another day (season).  Pretty to look at though.  The hat...and the river.

the VIVIAN

           Someone's turning two today.  Who could that be?  Is it Vivian?  I guess so.  H.B. Vivian!!

the CHILI PEPPER

This reminds me of a red chili pepper.  Primarily red with a bit of green stem (and some white thrown in for good luck) it looks spicy enough.  And the wearer??  SPICY!!! tooooo!

the PURPLE FLUFF

I got some new yarn the other day.  This yarn sorta jumped out at me.  Or should I say "It spoke to me".  Well, anyway, I couldn't resist.  The fluffy brim and tassel will look perfect on some little girl.  Oh, and look at the beautiful rose.  It is growing in my brother's garden in Oregon.  So fragrant!!

the STEVE

This just looks like a hat that a guy named Steve might wear outside while doing a little yard work.  I think so, anyway.  What are your thoughts on the matter?
