Trick or treat!!  You know what day it is...it's Halloween!  Spook-tacular.  Fright-y night-y. Booooo!

SHADES OF PURPLE

This time I decided to combine several shades of purple yarn into one tweedy looking hat.  This close up shot gives a good look at the double knit rows.  This hat will provide a lot of warmth this winter.

the NEON LIGHTS

This is just a very simple hat made with variegated colored yarn.  The special trick is that I shot the picture using the artistic feature on my camera.  Brings out the colors in a different way.

CHRISTOPHER B

the ICE CREAM CONE

This looks like a chocolate mocha ice cream cone, to me.  Mocha on top followed by a layer of dark chocolate and all of this goodness is resting in a sprinkle filed cone.  Total yumminess.  The little horse thinks so, too.  lick,lick

AUTUMN SAGE

              Double thick knit with a dash of fall color makes for a snuggly hat fit for the season.

                    I know...it's Fall going on Winter but this hat looks kind of Spring-y.  Soooooo

the EARLY SUNRISE

Up at the crack of dawn to see a beautiful sunrise and start the day off right.  Cute hat, too!!

FALL FOR THIS HAT

This hat has a double thickness of yarn surrounding the ears which will protect them in cold weather. The hat is knit from very soft yarn and has the beautiful colors of the Fall season.

AUTUMN LEAVES

I love the autumn season and the colors that go with it.  This lightweight knit hat is perfect for chilly (not cold) weather and the colors are perfect for the season.  Someone's little head is cozy/warm.

the FIRST SNOWFALL

This hat certainly looks like a pile of snow.  The yarn is ultra thick and very soft.  I actually had a hard time knitting this hat because the yarn is so thick.  I had to alternate the rows with a thinner white yarn.  The overall effect is sort of a puff ball look.  Or snow.

the UNUSUAL BLOOM

             Plucked from the garden...this hat.  Someone must have dropped it.  Nice hat, though.

FRED

                                         It's time for a hat named Fred.  So, here he is.  Fred.

the PHYLLIS

Extra thick double knit makes this the hat of choice for the upcoming winter days.  mmmmm

the CLASSIC STRIPE

Looks like a sport teams colors--silver and black.  Very nice.  Medium weight.  Sporty.  Well done.

the BRIAN

Wow!!  Look at this rugged, outdoors-y looking hat.  The yarns used to make the hat are typically warm autumn colors and the double thick brim should protect the wearers ears from the chilly weather this season.  Oh, and there's a birthday today.  H.B., Brian!  H.B.

AUTUMN TWEED

Brown and tan wool yarns knit together make this a very thick, warm hat.  Bring on the cold weather!

                   Such a sweet color combination for a dainty little hat.  And a lovely setting, too.

I'VE GOT THE BLUES

I seem to have used a lot of blue yarn lately.  Well, this thick little hat will certainly keep some frosty ears warm this winter.  It has double the thickness in the crown and more than that in the brim.  Woof

the CHOCOLATE KISS

That's kinda what this looks like...a big piece of chocolate candy.  (won't melt in your hand)  mmm

the HOLIDAY TREE

This hat reminds me of a decorated pine tree...forest green branches on the bottom and colorful decorations and lights on the top.  It is a nice thick knit and it should keep someones ears warm this winter.  And the colorful yarn combinations will "light up" a chilly night.

THE PEPPERMINT STICK

This hat has the coloration of a peppermint stick.  Although the hat is meant to be worn, it looks good enough to eat (lick).  Don't you think so, too?

SOFT AND BLUE-Y

Another blue hat.  This one combines solid blue yarn with variegated yarn in blues and greens.  And, it is so soft to the touch.  Very fluffy, too.

JOHN BENNETT

There's a new little baby boy in town tonight.  7 lbs. 11 oz.  and 21" long.  H. B. little one, H.B.!!

the FLUFFSTER

This is really soft multicolored wool yarn knit into a fabulous hat.  Extra thick, too.  Nice and warm.

ONE GIANT MARSHMELLOW

Yum.   That's what this looks like.  But it probably tastes like wool.  Because that's what it is.  hmmm

AUTUMN

I really like the colors of autumn leaves and pretty much everything about the autumn season.  The change in the temperature and the change in the colors of the summer foliage as it turns to the warm earth-y tones are just delightful.  A nice warm hat will do.  I'm ready.
