JUMBO POPCORN

This is the older sister of Popcorn With Butter.  Puffy yellow yarn mixed with solid color yellow yarn give this very soft hat its bright color.  And it does look like a jumbo sized buttered popcorn, too!!

Look at that big colorful ant standing next to that orange-y hat.  That hat is so scared it can't even move.  I don't think ants eat wool, though.  Yippee!  A beautiful coexistence!!

BEACH SUDS

A little driftwood.  Aqua blue/green colors.  Some puffy white stuff.  Looks like beach suds to me.

Medium weight knit hat.  Love the dark red color and the happy stripes.  Soft, too.  Nice.

the NORTHERN LIGHTS

The colors and patterns knit into this hat make me think of the northern lights.  I clearly remember the vibrant colors of the aurora borealis against the dark night sky.  Just beautiful!!

Well, isn't this a cute one!  Candy stripe cotton yarn knit in two layers give this hat warmth.  And, it's soft to the touch.  Great for a day of play in chilly/cold weather.  H.B. to Sean!!  Go have some fun.

I like the weave in this hat.  It reminds me of a stacked brick wall.  And, the hat is warm, too.

This is a very pretty girl-y kind of hat that will definitely keep a little noggin warm on a chilly day.

BEST BUDS

And that's what they are.  I figured out how to work ear holes into the design for the doggie hat.  (No ear holes required for the people version.)  The ties help keep the hat on Curley's head.  Nice color combo, too!  Lookin' good, fellas!!

Soft and warm.  Perfect for a hike in chilly weather.  Cute roll brim.  Snuggly, too.  This hat is named for a sweet little girl who turns four today.  H. B. Ellery!!

BASTILLE DAY

I finally figured out how to make a hat with ear flaps and ties.  Hooray for me!!  Victory!!  Sort of a liberation day for me as I was able to figure out how to change things up a bit.  Also, this hat is s-o-o-o-o-o warm and very soft to touch.  Perfect for some little head.  Celebration time!!   (popcorn)

the PURPLE FLECK

This hat is a real ear warmer.  The cuff is doubled and very protective against the cold wind.  The colorful crown makes it a cheery sight on a grey day.  It's also very soft to the touch.  mmmmm

SUSIE BELLE BOOM BOOM

Christmas in July?  Oh, there's a party here every year on the 12th of the month.  That's when Susan celebrates her birthday. And she loves red and green. So, here's to you, Susan!!  We're lookin' at you.  And H.B. to a wonderful brother, too.  Happy Birthday to you, Steven.

I just thought I would name a hat after a friend from high school days.  I mixed blue and tan variegated color yarn with the puffy blue yarn and this is what it turned out to be.  Quite nice!!

1942.  That's when it all began.  Bennett and Helen got married on a sunny day in July in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Epworth Methodist Church.  Friends and family.  50+ years.  We celebrate you both.  From your loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A warm and fuzzy hat posing alongside an old farm house on a sunny day in Washington.  There's a story here.  The old house stands in the way of progress.  Sort of like the old house in the movie UP.  Will this house have a warm and fuzzy ending?  I really hope so.
